親愛的家長及同學:

        聖誕節快樂! 在聖誕節將要來臨的時候，在我腦海中出現了普世歡騰這首聖詩。第一段說到:「普世歡騰，救主降臨！全地接祂為王；萬心為主預備地方，宇宙萬物歌唱，宇宙萬物歌唱，宇宙，宇宙萬物歌唱。」。但願聖誕節的來臨叫你認識我們的救主耶穌基督的降臨，也因著衪叫你和你的家人因這奇蹟歡騰起來。

        感謝神，帶領我們中文學校踏入三十周年。我們將定於二零一零年三月十三日(星期六)晚上七時正於本教會體育館舉行三十周年慶典聚會，當日聚會內容將會有表演、抽獎及茶點。我們將邀請過去三十年來，曾經在本校任教的職員及學習的畢業生一同慶祝這盛事。當然你的出席也是非常之重要，希望你能預留時間與我們一同慶祝這大喜日子。

        中文學校將於二零一零年一月十日開始發售印有中文學校標誌的T-SHIRT($5.00/件)及雨傘($10.00)，一切費用將用作購買禮物作為慶祝三十周年抽獎之用。T-SHIRT 及傘數量有限，售完即止；如慾購買請到中文學校校務處。

        十二月廿七日及一月三日為中文學校聖誕節及新年假期，二零一零年一月十日復課。

Dear Parents and Students,

        Merry Christmas! As Christmas is approaching, the Christmas song Joy to the World comes to my mind. Here is the first stanza, “Joy to the World, the Lord has come. Let earth receive her King. Let every heart prepare Him room. And Heaven and nature sing. And Heaven and nature sing. And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.” May the coming of Christmas lead you to the understanding of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and be joyful because of this wonder of the season.

        Thank God for leading our Chinese School into its 30th year. We have decided to hold a 30th anniversary celebration on March 13, 2010 at 7 pm in the FLC. The program for that celebration event includes performance, door prizes and refreshment. We will invite teachers, staffs and alumni to celebrate this special event with us on that day. Your attendance is also very important to us. It is our sincere hope that you will mark this date and celebrate this joyous occasion with us.

        Starting from January 10, 2010, CBC Chinese School will start the sales of T-Shirt ($5.00 each) and umbrella ($10.00 each) with the Chinese logo. All the proceeds will be used to purchase door prizes for the 30th anniversary celebration. Items are available only while supply last. If you are interested in buying these items, please come to school office.

        We will observe Christmas holiday and New Year holiday on December 27, 09 and January 3, 10 respectively. School will be resumed on January 10, 10.
